Linda Marks jackson BIO
Linda was born in Hammond, Indiana in 1960. At the time of her birth, her mother, the late Virginia Marks, had contracted German measles. Virginia’s illness led the medical staff to believe that Linda’s health might be jeopardized, and one of the doctors told the family that Linda might not make it. As it turns out, Linda was indeed born “alive,” but her hearing was severely affected, which contributed to difficulties with speech in her younger years.
Linda began playing the piano at age 6 and it is through the power of music and the grace of God that she began her healing process. It is truly a miracle that Linda not only overcame these challenges but was able to use her God-given abilities to give glory to Him through her original compositions and beautiful voice. In addition to Linda’s three previous CD’s (Suddenly I Saw, Crown of Thorns/Crown of Glory and My Heart to His), she also sang and spoke and ministered at Awesome God Church and numerous ladies’ meetings and events.
Linda lost her third battle with breast cancer in February of 2024. Her wit, sense of humor, love for family, selfless spirit and unconditional love is sorely missed.
